  1. Let \( X \) be a compact (connected) Riemann surface of genus \( g_{X} = 0 \). Show that \( X \) is biholomorphic to the Riemann sphere.
  2. Let \( X \) be a compact (connected) Riemann surface of genus \( g_{X} = 1 \). Show that \( X \) is biholomorphic to a complex Torus.
