Examine whether the following series converges or not: $$\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}a_n, \;\;\;\;\;\;\;a_n=\left\{\begin{matrix}
\dfrac{1}{2^k} &k=even \\
\dfrac{1}{k^2}&k=odd
\end{matrix}\right.$$


Can we evaluate the series above?
Imagination is much more important than knowledge.
